She honed her skills as a trends barometer and storyteller working in journalism and PR, and then co-founded Cult Beauty in 2008 and has stood at the helm as Co-CEO for the last six years. Enjoying rapid, profitable growth, Cult Beauty has enjoyed a recurring feature on the leaderboard of the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 and International Track 200 for the last three years and has also bagged the coveted WWD ‘E-tailer of the Year’ title. Under Alexia’s leadership Cult Beauty has become the place to go for beauty discovery and incubating indie trends – from the latest scientific discoveries to centuries-old remedies that have never been bettered.
Alexia was listed by WWD as one of the 50 most forward-thinking executives shaping the future of the beauty industry in 2019. She is regularly quoted in The Financial Times, The Times, Business of Fashion, WWD and across the luxury lifestyle media and is on the advisory board of the British Beauty Council.
