Ataji Hair

Ataji Hair Care believes that all hair types are beautiful but of course, not all products work for all hair types. In the media, though there has been a shift towards products for afro hair, a lot of the products still traditionally cater to those who are mixed race and have curly hair.

Jenmi’s aim was to create products that focused on hair types that were not typically deemed as beautiful. Her products do not exclude other hair types, rather simply focuses on creating a new image. Her overall mission with Ataji Hair Care is to educate people, no matter their hair type, on how to look after their hair. At a young age, Jenmi’s hair had been relaxed, so she was never given the opportunity to learn to care for her natural hair. She wants to show women and young girls how to do just that. She wants women to be proud of their afro hair.
