Dr Emma Amoafo-Mensah is an alumnus of the prestigious Imperial College London, working as a doctor in renowned hospitals around London since completing her medical degree in 2015. She is currently working as a dermatology registrar in South London and is a mentor and teacher to many. After completing her foundation training in 2017, Dr Emma took a role as a clinical teacher at Imperial College London, where she completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education and subsequently became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

This, alongside her intercalated first class Bachelor's degree in Management has cemented her interest in education and healthcare management. Dr Emma is also the founder of Friday Born Designs, a social enterprise which was founded in 2012 with the intention of providing relief and opportunities to both adults and children in need across Ghana.

Their projects enrich the lives of many on a regular basis by frequent donations and projects that improve the infrastructure of communities. Alongside this, she is the Health Editor of WOTC (Women of the City) Magazine, where she educates readers and answers their questions every month in her “Ask Dr Emma” feature.
