Editor’s Letter
Issue 4 is dedicated to our 12 cover girls and entreprenHERS featured throughout the magazine. We would like to thank you all for your contribution to business. Together, you have helped millions of women of whom, it’s likely you would never meet. You have all silently mentored women around the world through your consistency, your various channels and platforms, through starting again – oh how much boldness and fearlessness it takes to start all over again from square one, to start a business during the pandemic, to keep a business alive when things are falling apart. Thank you.
To all the aspiring entrepreneurs, as you read these stories, I implore you to do just one thing. START! All these women just decided to begin.
Giving is a huge part of the WOTC ethos. We started our publication hosting events across the city with female leaders from various organisations creating a platform for them to send the ladder down. During the pandemic, we collaborated with many of these friends and organisations and created a fund to support women – the WOTC Go Digital grant.
The fund, which supported women from all walks of life has now become part of the WOTC Community. Watch out for this space! Events, meet-ups and community brunches go live from September.
