New Fairmont Windsor Park Hotel
Interview & Words Benedicta Asante
Whilst many 2020 brides are looking forward to their resized and rescheduled weddings and others making it over the covid hurdle enter into their new phase of life with their partners. Benedicta Asante spotlights the brand New Fairmont Windsor Park Hotel, based in Surrey, speaking with their Marketing and Communications Director KATARINA NIELSEN.
Benedicta: How has your hotel maintained your relationship with brides during the pandemic?
Katarina: Fairmont Windsor Park is due to open in Summer 2021, so any wedding enquiries we have had since last year have been looked after by our team, updating them on any new progress on the build of the hotel, and keeping a close eye on government guidelines. We are now starting to confirm dates for this summer and cannot wait to welcome our lovely couples to the stunning Fairmont Windsor Park.
B: With the ever-changing landscape of events, how will you work with women going forward
K: Across the entire retreat there is a sense of tranquillity, inspired by our ethos of offering the ultimate wellbeing experience. Our elegant and luxurious wedding and event spaces are ideally suited for weddings large or small. At Fairmont Windsor Park we are passionate about creating memories that will last a lifetime, and our expert team will offer brides a personal service and look after every detail so that all they have to do is ensure they enjoy their big day with their loved ones. Our facilities include seven restaurants and bars where brides and their bridesmaids can indulge in anything from afternoon tea with Champagne, to cocktail masterclasses. And in our 2,500sqm Spa & Wellness there is a myriad of treatments and options for the ultimate bridal party pampering.
B: When finding out about bridal needs do you think the conversations you are now having will be completely different to that which you were having before the pandemic?
K: Conversations have not really changed, however there is a stronger wish from brides for increased security and more flexibility in the terms & conditions of the contracts in case there is another lockdown.
B: What new features has your venue incorporated making them more attractive to brides?
K: As we prepare for the launch, everything is new! We are incredibly excited to welcome our brides soon and believe we have an unrivalled offering with our 800sqm pillar free ballroom where we can create the most magic of weddings to suit any taste or wish.
