Glossier The Gold Set, £70

I can think of so many people in my life who would absolutely fight over The Gold Set. The iconically not-sticky Glossier lip gloss in a warm shimmery gold that’ll bring out the best in every complexion (and most definitely won’t be too glittery - it is Glossier, after all) paired with a subtle gold-plated necklace with a 70s-esque logo that’s so perfect for devotees to the Glossier gang, anyone called Georgina, or simply those who lie about their name to creepy guys in the club. It’s perfect for minimalists and maximalists alike - and if you know someone who’s a lip balm addict like me, then check out the Balm Dotcom Roulette pack for sure.

Glow Recipe Fruit Babies

Hopefully in 2021, travel will be safer and more feasible - enter the minis. After seeing Glow Recipe everywhere, I finally tried the stuff and it’s as amazing as the skinfluencers claim. This box houses most of their cult products in tiny form, like the Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask and Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser. It’s an entryway for the skincare lovers or a token of hope for them to bring on their travels next year. Great makeup starts with great skin, and Glow Recipe’s K-beauty inspired collection will ensure that clear glass skin of all our dreams.

Zoeva The Collection Coffret - Café Delights, £35

Zoeva make some of the most richly pigmented eyeshadows around, which is why it can be tough to settle for just one or two of its palettes. But we don’t have to settle - ever! This box is a kaleidoscope of neutral shades, from deep chocolate to molten copper, rosy brown to sparkling champagne - and each mini palette (four of the brand’s bestsellers, Caramel Melange is my longtime favourite) houses countless looks in one.

Whether you have a niece who isn’t technically allowed to wear makeup yet, or someone who’s already nailed their soft glam look and is looking to broaden their colour palette, it’s perfect for everyone - even the neon liner lovers need a transition shade in that crease, right?

Triochrome Eyeshadow Palette, £111.00

If someone gifts you a Natasha Denona anything, it means they really and truly love you. Once you swirl a finger in one of the eyeshadows, you’ll know what I’m saying. I didn’t know something made of pressed powder could be so soft, so pillowy, almost like freshly whipped cream, and swipe onto the skin with such rich colour, it’s hard to believe it’s just eyeshadow. The three middle shades of this palette grabbed my eye immediately; if you too have been swept up in all the Euphoria-inspired hype, then these incredibly illuminating, even alien-like hues are a must. Scarab in particular looks like a molten emerald gem - I need it!
