Holiday Glam: Lina’s Go-to Products
Words Lina Mourey
The most vital step to flawless makeup, is how you prep the skin. These days it can be overwhelming with the amount of notable products available to achieve beautiful glowy makeup. When I think of the holiday season, my mind goes straight to a dark or red lip. This year I wanted to bring a fresher approach to holiday glam. Here are some of my go to products to recreate this look.

First prepping the skin using Bioderma Sensibio H20 micellar solution with a cotton pad to remove any dead skin or left over residue. This helps with waking up the skin and allowing the following products to adhere easier.
Second I press in the Caudalie The Precious Oil, I love using this because it melts into the skin and leaves it looking super hydrated and youthful without any heavy residue. After applying, I like to use Youngblood Cosmetics Diamond Powder Illuminator for that glow-from-within look. For the under eye, I love using MilkMakeup Cooling Water and for extra hydration I go in with the La Mer eye concentrate.
My favourite foundation at the moment is Chanel Vitalumière Satin Fluid Makeup SPF15, it’s medium to full coverage with a dewy and fresh finish and perfect for all day wear to any event. I pair it with Nudestix contour sticks and finish it off with their Magnetic Plush Paint in Saint Tropez, the perfect neutral blush to balance this look.
For a pop of color, I used one of my favorite liner pencils, Kajal InkArtist in Birodo Green by Shisedo and added Rokael Beauty cluster lashes in Meteorites.
For the lip, I wanted something that would compliment the green so I went with a rich peach tone using Laura Mercier Baby lips lipliner with the KKW Beauty semi-matte lip in Birthday Girl. To finish off the look, I use Caudalie Beauty Elixir one of my absolute favourite setting sprays, leaving the skin radiant with a luxurious scent.
This look is clean and classic for any holiday event, even if that means gathering around only to take some photos at home!
