Creative of the Year Winner
Creative of the Year Winner: Amanda Akokhia
Amanda Akokhia, the creative genius. A woman who pays attention to small details. Whether it's personal branding photos or advertising campaigns for Beauty and Fashion brands, she is creative with the ability to bring simple things to life to convey stories. These stories are not just read or stared at but are felt and lived through. Her art has influenced many people, both personally and professionally.
There was a risk that Amanda Akokhia's brilliance would not have been shared with the world. Amanda dipped her toe into the creative bubble during her high school art class, where she cultivated her love of the arts. Amanda went on to study law after high school and college, but she did not let it deter her passion for the arts; she worked hard and smart to create something that now reaches thousands of people. Amanda mastered her craft not only to become a brilliant photographer but also to become a woman who has a major impact on others
Amanda had some difficult days earlier this year, particularly during the shutdown, when there was so much chaos and unpredictability in the way businesses function. Because of the uncertainty, she was on the verge of abandoning photography and returning to university to pursue a career as a lawyer. Amanda, on the other hand, has fought to be a successful story of 2020-2021 because she was able to overcome that period of her life and rekindle her desire to create. The last two years have been difficult for us all, but she is one of those who have fought back and refused to give up.
Amanda Akokhia Studios is situated in Kensington and Greenwich, London. She has worked with great brands such as Superdrug, Makeup Revolution, and The NHS and top worldwide celebrities for their branding and magazine covers, and she continues to do so. Amanda's photos have been published in British Vogue and Tatler Magazine and featured on ITV News, Channel 5 News, and The Daily Mail. She was also the photographer for the NHS charity event honouring essential workers in October 2020 and Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October 2020. Need I say more about her impact and stamp on this world.
