Female Artist of the Year
Throughout the history of art, women have mostly remained underrepresented, gaining little to no recognition for their work, and even more so for female artists without the ‘right background’ and with agencies like MTArt Agency who have disrupted the status quo and represents, supports and pushes all artists, it is an exciting time for women in art. Female Artist of the Year was awarded to the artist who uses their platform and voice to narrate powerful visual stories, whilst fighting to change the norms of what is even considered art.
