Caleno
Caleño was born out of personal frustration. Founder Ellie was on an alcohol-free night out with friends, getting down to some Latin funk. But something was bugging her. Why should not drinking mean not having fun? She felt uninspired by the non-alcoholic drinks on offer and decided it was time to bring some joy to not drinking.
Fuelled by that Latin positivity, Ellie set out to infuse the sun-drenched flavours of Colombia with her non-alcoholic spirits. The result? Caleño. Non-alcoholic spirits, for anyone, anytime, anywhere.
Fountain
A hard seltzer is an alcoholic, in our case a chart-topping 5% ABV, sparkling water!
The name seltzer, comes from the American word for fizzy water. It is just plain, natural water, with bubbles added.
The “hard” bit comes from the fact it has been jazzed up with a splash of alcohol.
The shift towards a healthier lifestyle has impacted all aspects of life. Traditional alcohol beverage options tended to be high in calorie and carbs and not suited to those who wanted to enjoy a drink with friends but didn't want the beer gut afterwards. Hard seltzers tend to be characterised by being low in carbs and calories and so became popular.

I am Kooky
Bonded by their Asian roots and Western upbringings, they found themselves sharing stories and challenges involving their East-West fusion of traditions, cultures and mindsets. Fast forward to 2020: with Covid-19 rendering travel a literal no-go and social distancing emerging as the new norm, society became inevitably fragmented. Now, more than ever, the team here at Kooky believes in the importance of embracing differences, encouraging tolerance, helping and empowering others, especially the ones who have less. Through their passion for exotic fruit and their unique relationships with Thai farmers, our co-founders created Kooky, a brand which not only mirrors their identity, their personality and their values but also brings the best fruits of the East to the West.
