Welcome to Health: The New Beauty
Serving and managing is a global leader’s mindset and now more than ever, people are looking for leaders. As lockdown restrictions begin to lift - and in some cases tighten worldwide, many of us will feel challenged or unable to cope as we all get to used to a ‘new normal’.. a new start! As a publication, WOTC committed ourselves to ensuring that we brought you the very best health experts from doctors to nutritionists who will help you to deal with this time in the best possible way. I want to begin this new chapter by encouraging all of our readers to remain positive and connected with us. We’ll be opening our WOTC hope line for you to be able to speak to our experts of which you can find further details on our Instagram page @wotcmagazine.
My role as Editor at Women of the City Magazine is not only to share stories of successful women and the latest trends, but to inspire you with inspirational words and hope. My team and I have written with only one aim - to heal. In this issue, we feature some of the beauty industry’s most inspirational power players which include Bobbi Brown, the beauty industry extraordinaire, Tracey Woodward, the industry’s fairy godmother and Caren Fisk who has managed the biggest names in hair and beauty for over 2 decades. All three women share their victory stories and how they overcame their beauty scars to create household names. Readers can also indulge in stories from two of the industry’s rising stars Jamelia Donaldson, founder of TreasureTress and co-founder of The Teen Experience and Everyday Cosmeticss founders Sarah Bakare and Josephine Anane whose businesses have thrived during this period despite the many issues and restrictions.
I can’t wait for you to read every story!
Stay safe
