London Craft Week is back with a 10-day programme celebrating the capital's emerging and established craftspeople, designers, makers and brands, with more than 250 events running from 30th September to 10th October. Shemaiah Heckman shares with us some great picks for the most unmissable free events happening in Mayfair, Chelsea, Kings Cross & Online.

What's On:
300 Objects: An Inaugural Exhibition For Modern Day Patrons, Piccadilly
30th September - 10th October, 11:00-17:00am - Quadrant Arcade, 82 Regent Street, W1B
This exhibition celebrates Britain's most exciting emerging makers and established artists. Guest curated by industry leaders such as Martin Brudnizki, Alice Fisher, Yinka Appiagyei and Kusheda Mensah - All of the pieces in the exhibition will be available for purchase.
Coal Drops Yard Series, Kings Cross
Taking a lead spot with eight events running through Kings Cross shopping complex, Coal Drops Yard is back for a second year with an exciting schedule. With Artists such as Vic Wright showing off her beguiling nature-inspired sculptures and Shelter's 'boutique' exhibition, a collaboration with conceptual Artist Jo Cope showcasing 10 pairs of shoes inspired by the stories of people who have faced homelessness.
Artisan Chelsea Series, Kensington & Chelsea
From the stylish boutiques of Kings Road to the artisan shops of Pavilion Road, design and craft have always been very much at home in Chelsea. This LCW in Chelsea, 9 different brands will be showcasing their skills through live workshops and demonstrations. This is definitely one not to miss! All events in this series are free however, you can also learn to sew face masks at The Fashion School for £45.
Gun-Finishing demonstration at Purdey (Online)
1st October, 16:00pm-17:00pm
Purdey has been hand-crafting shotguns and rifles for more than two centuries, with each bespoke build taking up to 24 months to complete. See the intricate process at work in a live streaming of James Purdey & Son's Flegate Mews headquarters, where craftsman Tom Nicholls will demonstrate gun-finishing techniques and teach viewers how to chequer on a piece of walnut wood.

Create Day Global Initiative (Online)

Create day, from the team behind London Craft Week. A digital programme hosted on created.org where gifted artists-makers-designers in our midst will be celebrated, some famous, others not so known but all world class. Creators from the UK and across the world will open their studios, factories, workshops, kitchens, homes, colleges and community spaces to share their imagination and skill with a global audience. Visit Belmond Cadogan Hotel for a dedicated tour to view many of the original pieces on display throughout the hotel by different British Artists. Discover not only the Artwork but the craftsmanship and original details found throughout the historical property. Over 430 pieces of original artwork, 34 Artists and 23 female artists. The Art Collection inspired by botanicals, linking to Cadogan Place Gardens and the local area of Chelsea.

Roksanda and J&M Davidson on Mount Street, Mayfair

Roksanda will be hosting a collection of work by British artist and ceramicist Emily Buck, who is known for her hand-built stoneware sculpture, as well as sinuous art pieces by British Nigerian designer Mimi Shodeinde to celebrate LCW. Leathergoods expert J&M Davidson is also presenting basketry by American weaver Melinder West on Mount Street.
