Malaika

Before Malaika, the village of Kalebuka in southeastern Democratic Republic of the Congo had no access to electricity, clean water, or educational facilities.

Malaika is impacting thousands of lives and transforming an entire community in the Democratic Republic of the Congo through enhanced access to education, water, and healthcare. The foundation had taught and is teaching girls to question, engage and to evolve into progressive leaders who can positively affect their villages, their country, and even their world. They also given adults a space to reinvent and reimagine their lives, too.
