Founder of Breedon Perfumery, an independent brand based in The Cotswolds.

The brand was created as a result of a series of traumatic events. Michelle, her husband and their two daughters' world was turned upside down following her husband's accident and her own major surgery. After being a stay at home Mum for 11 years, opting to home educate her daughters, Michelle found herself needing to take charge of the family unit and try to carve out a future for them. With no qualifications, no business experience and no confidence, she was at a loss as to how they would recover as a family.

Financially in ruin, they had to visit food banks to get by and their future looked uncertain. Upon receiving their food bank parcels, Michelle recalls using a body lotion that was found inside the package. At such a dark time, that one action of using that product lifted her spirits and in the midst of the chaos made her feel human again. It was from that moment that she vowed to dedicate her future to making other people feel special, if only for a short time, just as she had at that moment. Breedon Perfumery was born and has a deep rooted passion for self care. Hand making their products in their shop in Witney, Oxfordshire, using kind to skin, vegan friendly ingredients.

Recently expanding their product range to provide home fragrance, Michelle is bringing luxury not only to you, but to your home as well.

Michelle's ethos is that every single person deserves to feel special, you are all important, you are all worthy and everyone should practise self care, no matter how small, something so simple can make you feel special and human again.
