Sherrille Riley

Sherrille Riley, founder of luxury nail and brow styling boutique Nails & Brows, began her stellar career in beauty twenty years ago. She had emigrated to the UK from Jamaica with her family as a child, settling in the north of England, but attracted by the big city dream, she took the plunge and left Yorkshire behind, making the move to London at the age of 19 to pursue her ambition of training as a beautician.

Drawn to premium beauty, Sherrille started working at the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon before moving on to the prestigious Harrods Spa. Over her five years there she worked across a wide range of luxury brands and met clients from all over the world, giving her the solid grounding in impeccable customer service which is central to her Nails & Brows boutique. 

Following her time at Harrods, Sherrille moved to Daniel Hersheson. It was during the decade she spent there that she perfected her craft in brow architecture, combining skill in brow shaping with a great proficiency in colour matching gleaned from Daniel Hersheson’s top colourists. She soon found herself in high demand, with beauty editors and celebrities among clients clamouring for her skill at creating the perfect bespoke eyebrow shape and colour.

Sherrille is from a background of female entrepreneurs, and watched her mother, grandmother and great aunt find their own successful businesses. Inspired by what she had seen them achieve, she decided to set up on her own. After noticing that regular clients tended to request eyebrow and nail treatments every three weeks, she decided to create a luxurious destination combining top level service and expertise in these two areas: and with that, Brows & Nails Mayfair was born.  

The salon became a great success, building up an enviably loyal client base including A-list celebrities and numerous in-the-know beauty insiders within its ranks. Sherrille followed the achievement of Nails & Brows Mayfair with the launch of Beauty Edit Mayfair in June, a product line based on the essential tools she uses within her salon. The inclusive collection of premium brow stylist solutions has been expertly curated by Sherrille with the aim of helping clients maintain and create they're natural, healthy looking and effortlessly defined brows at home. To the delight of Sherrille, the collection launched to rave reviews among salon clients and new customers alike. Today, Sherrille only looks after VIPs in the salon and invests a lot of time in training her team, ensuring the impeccable standards which made it a success. She lives in London with her husband, spending her time with friends, and doing Pilates when not working.
