For the purpose of these terms & conditions, Women of the City Magazine shall be referred to as ‘WOTC’. 1.1. The competition is open exclusively to female business owners and freelancers over the age of 18 except influencers, professionals, models, celebrities, athletes and agencies. 1.2. Businesses need not be registered but must be actively trading prior to submission of the application. 2. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. 3. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. 4. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified as will third party entries. 5. Closing date for entry will be announced on social media. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted. 6. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. 7. Applications must be made at wotcmagazine.com/businessgrant by the entrant and not through any third party agencies. 7. Ownership of Programme entries and intellectual property rights 7.1. The Administrator and Sponsor do not claim any rights of ownership in the content of any Application. 8. Successful applicants will be notified within 14 days of the outcome of their application. 9. WOTC reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by WOTC. 10. WOTC is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition. 11. The opportunity is as follows: The Administrator of the grant programme is: Women of the City, 3rd floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom 11.1. The Opportunity 1.1. The title of the Opportunity is ‘WOTC Business Grant 2020’ (the Opportunity). 1.2. The Opportunity is intended to offer grant funding ("Grants") to provide support to 5 female-founded businesses who are suffering from the effects of the current restrictions placed upon business and the general population as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic (COVID-19). 1.3. The Grants will be funded by the Sponsor of the Programme: Women of the City, 3rd floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom 11.2. Successful applicants of cash grant will be award on the 30th of each month starting from October to February. 11.3. There will be a prize for 50 runners-up they will be awarded the £1,000 match-funded business grant, which they would have to match fund and and will feature on wotcmagazine.com. The match funding will provide each applicant with £2000 worth of services to help with your business’ in branding, social media, PR, photography and other digital services.(magazine issue to be determined). 12. The prize is as stated and no cash alternatives will be offered.The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to eligibility and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. 13. The winner will be notified by email and/or DM within 14 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. 14. WOTC will notify the winner when and how the opportunity can be redeemed. 15. Due to the high volume of applications expected you may not receive an immediate response on the outcome of your application. However, you may be recommended for a paid-feature opportunity within the WOTC franchise instead (further t&cs apply*). 16. The winner agrees to the use of her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. 17. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. * Paid feature opportunities 18. Should you not be eligible for the above or unsuccessful in your application you may be recommended for a paid feature in the WOTC franchise. 19. WOTC advertising opportunities are non-transferable as fees paid can only be used to advertise within the WOTC franchise. 20. All adverts are subject to the WOTC Media Pack 2020. WOTC does not handle the design element of any adverts or advertising opportunities but can refer you to third-party organisations for the design and branding element of your advert should you not have this in place already. Whilst it is not compulsory to use any of our recommendations, all adverts must meet the design specification in order to be featured in our print and digital magazine. 21. Should the design brief not met, the advert will remain on hold it until it does. 22. WOTC is not responsible for any business or trades made between any third parties. 23. If you wish to withdraw your advert please email advertising@wotcmagazine.com within seven days of payment. All withdrawals made after this will not be accepted. 24. We cannot accept requests from businesses with founders under the age of 18. By submitting your application or advert, you agree that you will be 18 years of age before the issue goes for print. If this proves to be incorrect, we may terminate our agreement with you. 25. Adverts are organised according to the schedules, dates and programmes established by WOTC. WOTC reserves the right, at any time, to amend any aspect of print deadlines. 26. Completing the application form and signing the declaration, confirms that the information you have provided is accurate. If you think there may be an error, please notify us at your earliest of any changes to community@wotcmagazine.com.
